    I am thinking I know this.......but dont, am leaning towards heather,ish or conifer or something else....excuse me just thinking aloud :D

    Thats what its all about roders, your thoughts, its no good thinking and not writing, thats what I tend to do.
    But then with some of my thoughts its probably better that way.

    Yes, I found that chrysanthamoides has similar leaves to oak.
    Now I would guess yours was a grevillea :D

    Oh, dear. Think I'll go back to my painting as I think I'm going to become very unpopular here.

    Don't think it's a Grevillea, pete. There are two planted together, both were labelled Euryops, and these are itsy, bitsy, teeney, weeney daisies which cover the bush in winter ...

    Its almost a miniature brug. :D
    I was only joking on the grevillea, to far away to tell.
    It looks a good plant though.
