Beautiful garden Paladin!!! I love the pieces of stonework dotted around - especially the sundial! So sorry to hear you were affected by the floods last year - you've done an amazing job to get the garden into this sort of shape so soon after. Big pat on the back and REST UP until you are 100% better! Kath x
looking well pal, done a fantastic job :thumb: pal how many times have you been flooded hope its only the once
:( Twice in recent years. Last June and nine years ago. It was much worse this year though, the blasted concrete gravel boards in next doors fence didn't help either
Hi all, i was looking at your pics and saw your montana dome ( paladin ) wow its great, mine is at its best i think at the moment if i may show you
Hi nick, its at least 15 years old i have been here 10 years and it was a lot smaller then, i cut it back one year and over did it a bit i thought i had finished it off but it recovered,i know now to not be as heavy handed. it wa in just one corner and since i have made the wooden support and trained it over, i love yours have you any tips to keep it lookin good i usually trim it with shears after flowering, shame it doesn't flower longer, how old is yours,k.x
It's about the same age as yours Kazy. I have never trimmed it at all because it's growing on a steel frame which can support the dense growth. It's a haven for nesting birds too. In the Autmn I heap a couple of barrows full of compost and a good handfull of Growmore at her base.During the Summer I make sure she has plenty to drink.
Thanks for tips paladin never really done owt apart from trim it so now i will try what you do ok thanks again k.x
And today everything seems so much more greener and fuller Even this pesky weed, that must have come in with the brook water. Is there a product to get rid?A safe one,I have fish in there.
My Sunday potter. Miniature Rose I rescued from a skip last year has flowered for the first time. My Rambler'Wedding Day' is setting her buds ready for the 21st...I hope!
