Thought I'd share this with you on this beautiful day..
We have a neighbour who lost her husband to cancer two weeks ago and she herself is now in hospital suffering with emphysema. This morning Mrs Pal phoned her to arrange a visit and our friend asked if I would kindly send a bouquet of roses from my garden as she misses the view of them from her house....:o

    She loves this one..

    Hi Paladin,
Your garden is looking gorgeous. What a pretty purple the irises are- I like the way your garden has different "areas" Mine is just a rectangular suburban garden. I would love a country garden with room for proper vegetables.

Hope you feel better soon. You need to rest to fully recover from what you had. :cutflwrs:

I'm resigned to the fact that the birds will have more than their fair share of Cherries...I just wish they wouldn't pull off the unripe ones and leave this mess every morning!:dh:

pal naughty blackbirds what a mess they have made i love cherries what a waste.
that was lovely of you and mrs pal to give your neighbour some roses how nice of you both.
your garden looks superb i too like the irises it was my mothers favourite flowers, everything is looking great apart from the cherries getting thrown all over your garden, what a shame

:gnthb: Oh Pal, looking lovely as ever... Those Iris are so blue they are lovely, makes me notice how pale my purple ones were this year, what sort are your blue ones..?
So sorry to hear about your neighbour, but a bunch of your Roses on hospital, must have made her feel better enough to come home..! Who wouldn't be bowled over by your beautiful cottage flowers too. I bet she loved to see them when she got home....!!

 We all do our gardens how we want them & to suit us, but it is a nice feeling if you know someone else is getting pleasure from it too.. :)
