    Not guilty, honest!:hehe:

Don't forget lavender - one of the dwarf varieties that doesn't grow into a monster.

This gives an idea of the slopes in our back garden:

The next image is how I want it to look, a meditteranean feel. It's going to be granite grey/blue walls rather than the black shown:

:gnthb: Just going to look great John..!! I love Daphnes they smell gorgeous & can be kept in a nice shape.. Cistus are gorgeous, some are quite short,, Petentillas always add to a Mediteranean look... Viburnum davidii is small & pretty too..:thumb:

Thanks for the ideas Marley, I'll put them on my list too. I'm asking Santa for garden vouchers so I can get the plants in the spring. I'm started to get excited about the idea of getting the garden back - we've put up with a builders yard for nearly 4 years now!

What a great idea - and you can invite everyone from GC as we have been so supportive and encouraging during your endeavours:thumb:

Of course, not everyone would be able to make it - but that still leaves us South Coasters, or even those of us within driving distance:hehe:

My suggestion would be to get everyone to pitch up for a planting party :gnthb:

Thanks Shiney, lovely to be back. I couldn't figure out my sign in name and my password so after several attempts I kept giving up and forgetting to try again. But all's well that ends well.

      Hope you are keeping well.:gnthb:

Hasn't John done a fantastic job on the extension. It will be interesting to see how the garden progresses now.
