    Hi Kandy
    Lovely photos [IMG] [IMG]

You had a good view of Derwentwater from where you were staying. What a lovely view to wake up to.

The photos of St Begas are really nice and I like the perspective of the one you took from the front of the church as it makes it look as though Wythop Woods across the other side of Bassenthwaite Lake is in the church's back garden. [IMG]

It looked as though you managed to take the one of Castle Crag just before the clouds were going to reach it.

My favourite of all of these is the one of the ferry landing. Really great perspective.

    Keep them coming :D

    Really lovely.
As someone as already said , this is what makes Britain Great.
I went to Madeira this September after being told how beautiful it was.
Well it didn't have a patch on the lakes as far as scenery .
Just need a place to stay anyone any ideas of areas etc.
I really don't have a clue how the lakes are 'laid out'.
I have tried the internet but I can't find a detailed map of the area.
