Lovely cheery colours, Kandy. What is the blue flower opening, last on the 10 June 7.37pm thread? And just love that ruffly pink ??? Poppy ??? You must have to fight your way through all these lovely blooms ... I'm going a wee bit green! [IMG]

Hi LoL,Thankyou for your comments. The blue one just opening is the same as the blue on two up from your post.It is Siberian Iris,Silver Edge.It was just starting to open in that first photo, and the other photo is it actually open and with water droplets where I had watered the garden and the water stayed there so I got my camera and clicked away.

I have to tread carefully when trying to get some of the shots, though the poppy's are at the front of the border.A lot of the flowers have been flowering for weeks, especially the white Sweet Rocket

I've never heard of a Siberian Iris ... so there's my "you learn something every day" for today! I had wondered if it was the other one also. You really have some lovely, and quite unusual flowers.

Thankyou,LoL.There are quite a few different types from the Tall Bearded Iris,Intermediate types and even tiny ones that are called Minature Dwarf Bearded.I will have to bring my Iris thread forward so that you can see all the different colours of some of the ones I have. The Siberian ones set seed quite easily, but a lot of the others have had the breeding potential bred out of them so as much as I try, they will not set seed and are sterile.
