Feed or split the Daff clumps up. The crocus could be like ours and being moused.

We've tried both Palustris. I am now thinking that it might be best to dig the daffodil bulbs up and then leave them for a whole year, then plant again. Perhaps work some compost into the places they come out of too.

New path through the veggie/berry patch, not quite finished yet but it looks very good and I am so pleased with it. Hubby laid it and two grandsons lugged the stones.

This ladder construction goes over two giant pots so that the courgettes can grow over it and not on the ground. Well, that is what I hope they will do.

Sorry, missed this Sis. Your blooms are just beautiful, just love the Miss Batman Clematis and the photography is ace. xx I must get my close-up lenses out and practice.

The path looks good, a nice effect. What a clever idea with the ladder and the courgettes .... I'm sure it will work. :thumb:

    Thanks Sis and Helen.

I took some more pics of the clematis today as I am so thrilled that we finally have one that blooms - and this for the third year!!! Never had much luck with them before.

Hubby got that path down rather quickly. He kept calling out what size stone he needed and the grandsons got it and brought it to him. I think they had it all done and the rest of the stones stacked back up against the wall in less than 2 hours.

Of course, it is only laid down, not sanded or anything. Don't think it will be, just the odd stones that are wobbly must be put in properly. Have to wait until next Monday to do that when the two grandsons are here again for lunch and supper. They made a point of making that clear - they have to be here to finish the job off!!!

Thanks Bob. The Hosta has done amazingly well this year, and all by itself too. We don't get many blooms on it though, never have done. Guess it is because it is very shady there under the tree. I planted a new one last week, one with white stripes.

Here are a few pics of the Epiphyllum in our Wintergarten. It stays indoors the whole year round. My cousin in England, Davris on GC, has a clipping of mine and just last week she told me hers was smothered in blooms. I looked at ours and saw it was starting off too.

Its been quite wonderful, taking a walk through your garden. Thanks for sharing it with us, but I have a request. Can you do a couple of "overall" shots...so we can see the bigger picture please.:)

I wish I had one tenth of the blooms in our garden that yours has, but then again I guess I have to break eggs before I can make an omelette.

    Steve...:)

Thank you, Steve. I'll see about getting some pics up tomorrow.

I looked at your thread "My Garden Project", but I'll answer that over there.
