    Thanks Pete, Bob, FANCY and Dee.

    Pete, no, we haven't used every inch. There is a wide border (4+ meters) along over half of the one side and perhaps an almost as wide a one on the opposite side, both have nothing but trees that make it all too shady to grow anything.

    Bob, thanks for the name of Geum, don't know about the Werner Arends bit though. No good asking the kids as they have no idea of gardening whatsoever. Anyway, I've put the name over the photo.

    FANCY, we have the most marvellous show of foxgloves this year, this is the best and largest group.

    This is a large planter that DiL has started making it into a mini rockery. Even in its unfinished state it looked so pretty. There is another even larger planter that she might do the same with too.

    Just love the roses, Sis, yours and the kids. Mine are on their third 'flush' this year, very short lived in the heat but at least they keep going. :thumb:

    well after looking at the photos it is confirmed, i am a novice and extremely jealous. your garden must be beautiful to be in, i wish i were a frog, i have picked out my spot by your pond already.
