That looks similar to what I have however the spike on mine (the bit you push into the soil) looks like this http://www.plantminder.com/plant-feeder/2/1/1/Standard-Cone---Single/ but instead of the green bubble on top you attach any size of plastic bottle and the water drips in. You need two for something like a window box and one for a hanging basket. They come from B&Q (near the hanging baskets and liners) and were about £2 each.
