Kilmarnock Willow help and advice please.

    :dh::D OK talked to my friend & she feels that if you read the winter pruning site to see what should have been done in winter.... Then read Alan Titchmarsh's late pruning dialogue you should see where to prune now.. Then prune again in Winter.. Sorry if I didn't explain too well. I suppose that is what happens when you are the one in the middle relaying the message so to speak... :dh: Gosh not trying to confuse you Dave.. Just ignore me if you want I will not be offended.. :D The written word is not always so easy to get over as the spoken word... :wink: :D

    Dave it seems its up to you when you prune, but I would still do it now.

    Thats all I can say.:scratch:

    If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.
    One thing is for sure, unless you prune drastically you wont kill it.

    :thumb: I think this is go with your gut feeling then Dave.. !! Prune a bit at least now.. :)

    I think I will go with this advice. Thank you all so much for your imput, I'm sure I will have questions later about other plants too.............sorry to alarm you all!!!!!!!! You really are all most helpful and I appreciate all the advice.

    :thumb: Well hope you get on well.. Pruning anything is daunting the first time I think Dave... Sorry if we confused you & never worry about asking questions we are all always doing it..!!! :hehe:

    No problem Dave, its the fact that we all do things differently that makes gardening interesting.
    Its not an exact science by any means.:D
