      Hi Sixpence, well it's still going......slowly!!! I'm no expert on these things, as it's the first time it has happen to any Banana Plant I've had, so I've no idea how long it takes. But I took some pics of it today so you can judge for yourself:snork::

        OK, you have whats called an 'ornamental Banana'. Its one I saw at Bananas.org...I kinda borrowed it for you........:heehee::heehee:

        Hi Sixpence, you're right it is looking good. Thanks for the pic:snork: Yes, it's an ornamental Banana, but I'm having trouble identifying it along with Pete. I bought it believing it to be a Dwarf Cavendish but Pete thinks differently and also the Banana Sites are a bit confusing when describing different types and their flowers. Have a look at my thread "Yes, we have no banana's" and you'll see what I mean:biggrin:
