[IMG] Mira,I can tell you are Italian, the way you speak of fashion with such authority and joy.
We aways watch the Italian ladies on holiday, they dress so well and even if they wore an old sack cloth, they would still manage to look gorgeous.

Just got back. The second item is, in fact, a bag. I enjoyed knitting it very much with the different things going on - bobbles, bump rows, beads etc. I guess I could do a halter-neck top along those lines which would certainly be interesting! I'd have to make up a pattern. There are some lovely yarns out there!

My next project is knitted flowers!

Tiarella, seriously, would you like the yarn I put the picture up of. I would be delighted to send it to you because it is of no use to me here.

I am now working on a royal blue crochet top for the summer and I don't fancy this exquisite yarn that dendrobium and I both have bought in different countries,

If you are interested, please PM me your name and address. I will be delighted to send it to you.

Dendy, the flowers I am knitting are kind of hard to descibe. I'll get some pics sorted and post them up asap.

Oh, Tiarella, they are lovely. I did something similar to the bottom one when I lived in the States in the 60s/70s and made a full-sized afghan in blue and white. Shame, gave it away!

I haven't attempted the top flower.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what you think of the yarn and what you do with it! [IMG]

I love knitting too! I haven't yet worked out how to upload pics here, but...
I mainly do Fair Isle and Shetland; including Shetland Lace. I did a babyshawl in handspun Shetland Lace wool (I didn't spin the wool! The baby's mum did that while she was pregnant). Shetland Lace wool is very delicate.
Anyone else interested in Shetland/Fair Isle?
