I hope the fuchsia will like the wall trough then.

I have other fuchsia's - i wonder if you guys could help ID them for me?
One is split now into three, it was a large bush, and the flowers look quite similar to the one above - small little petite skinny/long flowers.
I also have another, saved from certain death (in an uninhabited garden; i knew the past owner who is now dead and they would have wanted me to save it). It's a lovely bush (if it comes back this year from the move and winter!) but has wonderful big bulb-like flowers. It's absolutely gorgeous!

      No no
I was an electronics engineer, and I saw this fushia bush, I broke some branches of it and took them home, put them in a jar of water and roots came,
I stuck them in the ground at the back fence,
Other than that I worked what they called split shifts, 09:00 to 13:00 then 17:00 to 22:00 and usually 7/7
As I was field service engineer I would finish at 13:00 120 miles from home, so had to sit around some town or village I did not know Start again at 17:00

Some months I managed to cut the meadow at home (lawn with weeds 12' x12')

I bought pansies and stuck them in and some roses, but not knowing what to do and no internet in them days failed, so purchased six tons of stone chips and a bird table for the middle

This past year I had changed employment out of choice and reduced down to four day week, so commenced a garden for my retirement next FRIDAY :-)
Thus me joining this group last April and buying a greenhouse

So yes a fushia TREE for 34 years, yes a new gardener without a clue

      Regards Jack McHammocklashing

Well, my climbing fuchsia's are not big enough yet to go on the wall and climb - gonna keep them potted over winter to protect them and bring them in.

But one of them is just starting to bloom.
Check out the Lady in Black :)

Jack we have these Fuschia's growing wild all over the island. I dug one out of my garden a few years ago but couldn't get all the roots out. New shoots are still coming up and Glyphosate is struggling to deal with it.

Keep an eye on the one you have as they tend to harbour woodworm.
