It was too cold, cloudy and windy for this male Sand Lizard to come out and bask, all I saw was it's head.

A long way off so pics are cropped, Dolphins off Swanage today about 250 yards out.
They were swimming past a fishing boat and I saw there was a young one next to its parent.

We visited Bicton Gardens while in Devon and walking around the lake I saw these which at first I thought were just large Carp but looking closer through the camera I saw that they were huge Barbel swimming at the surface.. A native fish but obviously put in there. Looked almost Prehistoric, first time I have seen one.

Good morning everyone. It’s 5:30 in Berlin, just had my morning cig on the balcony and was a bit surprised when I saw two red squirrels coming down on the opposite 5-floor house wall. I took a video, and screenshots are from the video, sorry for the quality.

It appears that this raccoon has emerald green eyes, which if true would be very unusual.

This opossum has a face only a mother could love, but perhaps it is just having a bad day. Oliver.jpg

It's good to see Rosie again @hydrogardener but she looks a little thin to me. Is she okay do you think?

Thanks Sheal, she is fine. She has been back for several weeks now and I have been putting snacks out for her. The problem is that at times she does not come until four in the morning and at that point the other critters have taken her snacks. I did see her open a nest of baby rabbits, so she is hunting successfully on her own. That said, there are plenty of mice to keep her fed. In the meantime, I have been putting out dry dog food that the other critters generally avoid. She has gained more weight since she first showed up. I did not see any kits this year sad to say.
