Skunks are like snowflakes, no two look the same.

 

They are pretty animals Hydrogardener but I wouldn't want to get too close.

 

I am beginning to think it takes quite a lot to get them to spray Sheal. The night before last I watched it have quite a row with four raccoons, growling, hissing and paws flying fast and furious but no spraying.

 

With four raccoons to contend with, he probably didn't know which way to point his rear end first.

 

Last night, for the first time, a coyote was photographed on my property. There are many feral cats and pet cats roaming my property at night and as they are on its menu it may just hang around for a while.

 

Bubba and Shadow are the proud parents of twins, Ding and Dong. Not only are they cute but they are inseparable.

 

I thought I had seen the last of the chipmunks for the season but the warm weather today brought Gerty out to have one more for the road.

 

Oh, she is adorable. I have two sizes of those s/s little cream jugs I brought from Alabama.

 

The cup belongs to Rita our Blue Jay and she would be furious if she sees Gerty near it.

I broke my ankle on one of my wanderings and have been in a cast for several weeks. I am now in a walking cast for a month or more so I will be confined to the critters on my property.

 

Rita is stunningly beautiful.

So sorry about your broken ankle and I empathise having experienced a broken femur (twice) and a knee cap replacement on the same leg the same year.

I think I was wrong, it seems Bubba and Shadow have triplets! They are more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
