I agree with Victoria, we're enjoying the wildlife Hydrogardener. :)

@Victoria, do you see many wild animals where you live?

No Sheal, I live in the middle of the orange groves. I have only seen a couple of rabbits/hares. There is not much to be seen in the countryside around us except flora. We have many birds and hundreds of Storks. Also I can't get out and about and when I could was not a walker anyway.

I thought Bottoms Up might make a good caption for this photo of Gerty but I am open to suggestions. :)

Could it be a Moody November Photo Competition picture?

Like most parents Bubba and Shadow dote on their offspring, but sometimes kids can annoy the best parents. The look on the youngster's face is priceless.

No photos but we're now having to be careful driving along our road as we have a herd of deer in the tree line and they seem to have a habit of dodging across the road mainly at night time. They appear to be Fallow deer (most likely) but could be Roe. I see them regularly at night and sometimes at dusk but haven't seen them at all during the day.

During the last cold spell in December I noticed the snow on top of a box bush was full of blood, I'm guessing it was a sparrow hawk that had killed a pigeon.
Thinking about though, I didn't notice any feathers.

Not the kind of wildlife you want on a nature reserve but American Mink are common around the Somerset levels, full of ducks and later, eggs and young. Illegally released in the last century plus escapees from fur farms.

Our semi-pet chipmunk Simon has emerged from his den for the first time since October. They normally live three years but Simon has been here since my granddaughter was a small child and she is a sophomore in high school now. This is the earliest I have ever seen him, he usually shows up about the last few days in March. Perhaps New York will have an early spring for a change. I gave him a good meal and a few scratches on his cheek patches to welcome him back.
