One more from this morning, I'm not sure whether it is a just moulted exoskeleton next to it as it looks too small, doesn't look like a young one either.

2F982D6A-9D6C-4B54-A235-3D408E68FDC3.jpeg Went for a walk round RSPB Titchwell yesterday and had just finished talking to a gentleman about birding when Mr Kandy spotted what he thought was a Muntjac but the chap we had spoken to said it was a Chinese Water Deer a first for us:hapydancsmil::biggrin:

By the time I had pulled out my small camera from my pocket, switched it on and zoomed in on it,it had already turned and after a quick snap it had gone into the reeds:biggrin:

Sorry about the quality of the photo but I had left my bigger camera in the car after the mornings session so only had my small camera on me.Still it will do me:biggrin:

We were so lucky to come across another Chinese Water Deer at Titchwell this afternoon. It has taken us many years to see this type of deer and now we have seen at least two individuals over the last week or so...

Notice the vampire fangs which shows it is a male. The best part for me is the teddy bear ears:biggrin:
