    It has got slight markings on it's face but not as pronounced as the other one. Thank you for the comparison.

    There is a huge colour difference of the entire coat, which is what I first noticed, it is very dark. Also, I think the poor critter has bird droppings on her snout. :yikes:

          I purchased a spray bottle fox attractant on eBay to see if I could get this little character to slow down enough to get a decent high quality photo with the camera trap. Tonight I applied the attractant to the stump to see if it works. It sure looks healthy, no apparent mange.

            Bet these turn into spectacular moths..they're about 3" / 7.5cm long! The ants are outsize too...:biggrin:

              @noisette47 Sphinx moth caterpillars mainly found in the S US and Carribean, are you around there somewhere?

                      We've got a cormorant :hate-shocked: There was a load of splashing on the farm reservoir today which I thought was a moorhen on acid, but no, a big duck-like bird whizzed by and caught and swallowed a large carp. He caught 6 big fish in the space of a few minutes :hate-shocked: It's a good job that the lake is heaving with fish and crayfish because at that rate the populations will be severely thinned.
