MMR wasn't around when I was a youngster Dips, I had all the childhood diseases and I'm sure they make the immune system stronger for it. There's to many jabs and to much pill swallowing now and I'm sure it breaks down the bodies defences.

I agree to the pill popping but not the injections since they do give you a live virus so you create immunity :-)

 

Sorry Dips, the injections don't necessarily work. My son had the measles injection and had measles twice at a later point, he was quite ill each time too.

 

Yeh obviously not everything is 100% there is a worry with the docs that i may not build up enough anti bodies because of my ME

Apparently if you have a slight cold or infection then the injections don't work as well because you don't build up enough antibodies and then also everyones immune system is different

My mum has had mumps three times so never built up anti bodies from having the illness anyway.

 

well guys I got all excited and went to Hombase as they advertised on the TV half standard fuchsia for £10 instead of £20 and they also had 20% off all plants on Friday.
I was so disappointed with the quality , all 40 ish had been forced in a glass house and just about to finish flowering and looked a right old mess

I called in the doctors last night.
I wanted to get online for ordering repeat prescriptions and making appointments.
I was given a form to fill in and take back, along with ID.

Went back this afternoon and the place was shut.
Had a sign up, "Closed for staff training"

I'm guessing some of the doctors are not really up to scratch, but that is ridiculous.

If you ran a proper business like that, you wouldn't make much money.
Its the kind of thing that really makes me wonder about the NHS, and are they REALLY trying?

Or just VERY trying.
