The weather has been atrocious and depressing and soul destroying and what with the dark mornings and evenings ,I have at last found something to moan about

 

Good morning if you have an hour to spare I would like to tell you about Woos week,now listen carefully as I am only going to say this once

A week ago our toilet blocked up and flooded the bathroom,what a mopping up job,called the plumber in on Monday,cheerful chap,(much like woo really) I had by the way removed as much soiled water from the bowl as owly possible,the plumber came in and without further ado flushed the loo and it overflowed all over the bathroom again,Oh sorry about that he said he said it is blocked isn't it,well he said I can't touch that its full up with dirty water,I shall call in the big boys they will be here tomorrow in the meantime you will all have to use a bucket

Tuesday capital drains arrived lovely young fellow we got on like a house on fire,ge proceed to lift one of the drain covers (we have two) oh that's the wrong one,its for the rain water,he then removed the other manhole cover(is that politically correct)

Pulled all the hose pipe from his van and blasted the gully and pipes for about 30 miutes,that's done that he said and it had

Wednesday morning the toilet was blocked again(Oh No) call the plumber out again(emptied the toilet bowl and mopped all the water up again,the plumber said Oh I can't touch that its full of soiled water and its a health and safety thing I shall call Capital drains out again,repeat performance with the manhole covers and same action,then went up in to the toilet and said well its cleared it now,but there must be a blockage in the soil pipe which is inside and runs down though the kitchen,but it is boxed off and tiled by yours truly,said I will go and get a camera to put down the soil pipe just to see what the blockage is.

Thursday morning (still all using a B and Q's bucket) he came back put the camera down the soil pipe with great difficulty and said it is blocked isn't it,we discovered that it was blocked in the kitchen 3 feet from the floor and 6 feet down from the toilet,well he said we will have to cut a section from the pipe unblock it that way and then rejoin the pipe,no worries there then,but I will have to remove all the fantastic boxing and tiling you have done so I can get to the pipe,no worries I said ,Oh hang on that looks like asbestos,I can't touch that I shall have to get the specialists in.
Friday morning (getting fed up with the bucket by now) the specialists arrived and said you will have to remove the parrot and you and the family will have to wait outside, so they then got dressed up in white suits and breathing apparatus ,10 minutes later they said you can come back in now,I said that was quick,Oh they said we have only scraped it to get a sample which we will send to the lab and get the results ,see you on Monday,I have to stop typing now as I have cramp in my fingers,and believe me I have cut a long story short.enjoy your day my friends ,I am going to lay down in a dark room,probably the bathroom
