I took a product back to Homebase for a refund because it had parts missing and they put it back on the shelf. After twice checking checking it was the one with missing parts and taking it back each time to their CS it dissapeared, either they gave up trying to pass it off onto somebody, or it was bought by a customer who lost their receipt.

Today Morrisons had loads of packs of rotting french beans they were trying to sell at half price as it was the last day of their sell by date, the ends of them were all dark, soft and oozing gloop.

They wouldn't dare! :paladin: :snorky: most of the staff know me quite well and they'd warn the manager :heehee:. Some of them that have gone through their training still recognise me from their training video. I played the awkward customer!!! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Well hopefully the Wi-fi is back in order...technician came today smack on 4pm...hubby explained the nightmare and apparently the out come was - To much signal coming in to the Hub and Tivo box...so he went to the virgin box across the road did a few alterations with the wire, then came back and fitted an in line block connector to both Hub and Tivo box and one carries 0.5 and the other 0.6 and he said if you can get 0.0 on both it's the best you can get but nobody can get that.

So :fingers crossed: crossed the trouble as been solved :phew:

I seldom get asked to take a parcel in for a neighbour. My neighbour scribbled on a the envelope. MOVED. and posted it back to Nationwide. She lives downstairs @33 I live @35. Attempting to do my online banking. "ACCOUNT LOCKED" I had to visit the High St branch.

I have to be honest, when it comes to many of the immigrants. At least they are trying to earn a living. Most of my neighbours prefer to live in benefits.

Sat Navs. I used mine to direct me to Rumwoods nursery. Sutton RD. I had to stop and ask in the end. 2nd time, same request. My friend said. I think we are lost again. We were some six miles off course.

Gail. I am with Virgin. Time and again my cable system fails. There are two cabinets outside, one to the left and one to the right. The one that has my connections in is two streets away. Contrary to beleiving they were for Virgins custommers, there are several companies that use them. My connections always seem to be left out.

As I don't trust satnavs to get things right I always plan my journeys first (either by map or online) and then set the satnav. Most of the time it gets it right but has made some interesting errors. One time it told me that my journey would be 417 miles (taking the ferry to NI) when I was only going 14 miles

Sounds like you're talking about me. :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I don't think I've been to a High St branch for well over 20 years. It's too far to bother to go can do what little minor transactions are necessary through the village post office (free of charge). Other transactions are done by phone but I monitor my account on line. :noidea:

I'm surprised to read about issues with Morrison's - we tried them this week for the very first time, having gotten fed up of silly substitutions and short dated stuff from Sainsburys. I have to say, so far we are really happy with Morrison's stuff
