    I constantly see people walking into traffic assuming the cars will avoid them. I was screaming the other day as a dad on his bike made his son, also on a bike, run the red light and across the junction. The stupidity of people continues to baffle.

      Good afternoon the amount of people crossing the road this morning while using their mobile phones ,I had to HOOT (I am an Owl after all )at one person this morning and they dropped their mobile down the drain :heehee: about time they introduced Jaywalking again:smile:

        While we're at it...I'll never understand the amount of women I see with push chairs waiting to cross the road ( usually within feet of a Zebra crossing )and as they're stood on the verge the pushchair is on the road..What the hell is all that about don't they like their kids ? annoys the hell out of me.

              Me too. Air ambulance was there 30 mins or so and took off, roads all around closed.

              Quite often with teenagers it's all bravado. A few lads did that to me last week, staring at me as they jaywalked. Let's hope they grow out of it before they get run down.

                When I was in Saigon they said that the best way to get across the road was to walk steadily in a straight line and the traffic (virtually all mopeds) would be able to weave round you safely. The locals demonstrated it for me :hate-shocked:. After a while you get used to it.

                I don't think it works well with cars and lorries :nonofinger:

                  Regarding the issues with the police. So at one time I was a traffic cop. Never mind that you'd expect an ex cop to be biased. Me NO.
                  Fair do's as the saying goes. 'Once a cop, always a cop' So I have phoned in incidents and it's been like a Disney feature. Hello this is the police, how can I help? Then soon you ask yourself. Is this for real?
