LATEST MOAN FROM YOU AND ME 2019

Many years ago now my cousin in San francisco gave me some seeds of this plant, I grew it for years, you can dig the roots up and store them overwinter, a bit like dahlias, you get a bigger plant in year two.

 

Here Mirabilis jalapa are perennial, lovely.

 

I like the plant but kinda question the use of one that shows off when I'm not looking!

and I have nothing else to moan about. They had butter on offer and I've got enough to last me two bigger trouser sizes

 

Well it's 01.28 here on 26.7.19 The news and weather forcast said that the heatwave was ending. All day long (yesterday) I spent most of theday in my sitting room, or should that be, sauna. Two portable a/c's blasting away and me filling up like a tanker of cold water. I have kept ceiling fans and ordinary fans going all day. There were a couple of claps of thunder and the odd flash of lightning this afternoon, but no rain. Now I am sat here at the pc melting in a temp of 94F.

I imagine myself as that medical room skeleton. Roll on winter, at least I can wrap up. Now I am down to my bare bones.

Anyway, it’s all cooling down over next day or two nationally so hang on in there Mike

 

Good reason for napping later @wiseowl . It's still rumbling around down here.

 

Ey yesterday I even heard him shout "Boris's energy doesn't pay my bills"..well he's hardly busting a gut to pay them stood out there gobbing orf day in and day out...

 

Anyone ever heard of shiftwork or holidays...... not defending......just saying ! ! !

 

Well he obviously doesn't work nights as he couldn't stand out there from morning till early evening carrying on like that ,maybe he does the twilight shift..wonder if he works weekends ?..

 

Yes Shiney but we are now living in a nanny state and it's not allowed.
