Need a good moan. Just been to B&Q in Wrexham. We are in the process of insulating out loft. They claim to have lots of the stuff we want in stock. Maybe they have, but up to now it has not been out on display. So there was some out today,BUT almost all of them were sodden. No use to man nor beast as the stuff when wet never dries out. We did manage to find three rolls which were usable. This means that to buy the rest of the stuff we need to finish the job we will have to go to Chester, another 20 miles further away. Incredibly poor stock maintenance.

Why was this insulation wet? Did you complain to them? Hope all is going well with the new house and garden.

PS I have still not progressed with the book!

No way am I going to risk them delivering wet insulation and having the bother of sending it back. I would rather go to a store and check for myself that it has been stored properly.
And yes I did complain to the cashier, but they don't know anything. I suppose we could demand to see a manager, but what would be the point? It would not dry out the stuff.
I presume it has been stored outside or possibly stood in water somewhere.

Naughty. Not sure if the company which printed mine is still operating. I have a fair number more which I ought to get on with, but a bit busy at the moment.

Your welcome @CanadianLori :) I have two other ideas you could try.

Cut the pattern across the shoulder to shorten it. Or a better way is to put a fold in the pattern about halfway down the armhole. Both I've done in the past.

I will try the tuck adjustment @Sheal. As soon as my eye settles. At the moment I am in agony as I think my eye iris refuses to go back to normal and I feel like I have pins in my eyeball. I've got it covered now but it still hurts!

I've known others who had this cataract op with no problems... just not my lucky day

I hope your eye settles soon Lori and you feel much better. :) I sympathise, I have eye problems too and have three appointments over the next fortnight at my local hospital and not looking forward to those.

Thank you. Your good wishes have worked. I went to bed in pain and woke up with clear vision and no discomfort! My left eye is the weakling now...only for one more week and then it gets fixed. :yay:

Oh oh, I won't have any more excuses for my frequent typos
