I keep expecting to get up one morning to find that I have suddenly become an outie.... darned Christmas cake ...

 

That’s what my tummy looks like in my dreams!!!!

 

I was told the sad news last night that they are going to be building all over green belt land, so sad to see the wild life being pushed out, my mum & dad often get dear at the bottom of the garden

 

@Flumpy it is very sad. I have read this is going to be happening more because England has run out of space for new homes. Fortunately that problem is not here and never will be where I live because all the land around me is agricultural. My cottage is a ex farm worker's cottage.



Those are orange groves around me.

My heart goes out to your parents should the project go ahead.

 

Victoria thanks so much for your sympathy, the land near my mum and dads was owned by a farmer but she sold up to a man who has now sold up to developers, it’s all been kept very quiet.

Yes very sad, once the green spaces are gone they are gone forever. Small villages will be joined together in some parts. Why does this country need more houses? In my area there are plenty of empty houses & factories.

 

Yes your right Wiseowl and there’s thousands of good empty old homes too, we will be bursting at the seems soon with no wild life

 

Sorry John I missed you there. Yes I ask myself that question, we are building houses, there’s more people sleeping rough because there are no jobs, it doesn’t make sense
