"Treated" myself to a swordfish steak today, it wasn't cheap.
I must say I have never eaten such a tasteless piece of fish in my life, was basically like eating nothing, very tender though.

What is the point in shipping something like that halfway around the world from the Indian Ocean.
All I can say is Pollocks to it.

I'm sticking with Mackerel and Coley.

I've never liked Mackerel, pete, as it's a bit too strong for me, but Coley's alright. I used to like eating Fish and Chips on the East Coast where the fish was "Rock Salmon", i.e: Dog Fish.....lovely.

I just used Mackerel and Coley as examples, probably the cheapest fish around these days and so much better than Swordfish or fresh Tuna.

Extract from another on-line news site:

The breaches related to the Auxiliary Cooling Water (AWC) system and the Reactor Pressure Vessel safety relief valves.

The news site has been 'corrected', it now reads:

First Minister Mark Drakeford said today he ‘positivity does not want people to return to offices in the way that we did before Coronavirus happened.”

Not much better, but at least no spelling mistakes - they need a grammar checker as well as a spell checker.

On ITV3 they are showing repeats of

Sainsbury grocery delivery:sad: Five fresh (meat and fish) items all with the same sell by date within two days delivery. I rang to complain, waited on the phone for 20 minutes and when I got through I was told that nothing could be done. It is their policly to quote to customers that unless the items are dated the next day there is no recourse. The guy I spoke with would not let me speak to a manager because he would get a reprimand.

He agreed that it was not good that all item should be used within two days when I can only get one delivery a week and after saying there was nothing he could do, he rang the store to get someone from there to speak with me. The girl I spoke to said she would look into it and get back to me. Of course I hear nothing. No apology and the only suggestion was that I put the meat and fish in the freezer or take them back to the store (16 miles away) Thank you Sainburys - no more orders from me.
