I've been looking at images of blank cartridges and I'm pretty sure even I can tell the difference between blanks and normal rounds.

I can't imagine why he has not at least been charged with manslaughter.

 

Guns imo have no place in the day to day lives of people. Using them for a hobby / sport is ,to me, very ,very slightly more acceptable.

We are in the process of selling all my brother's guns prior to his move...just seeing them all and handling them makes me shiver.
Their potential to cause such devastation...even totally accidental is too much!!

 

When I was in Toastmasters you had to give a speech on something you felt strongly about .... mine was anti gun laws. I don't even believe in toy ones!

 

When i used to shoot we were toled not to point it at any one, when not useing it you piont it upwards or down wards (shot guns) safey on and broken

as for blanks we used to make our own (12 bore cart's) very easy to do but you have to make sure nowt is left inside and the wadding is to be soft

If I was given a cold gun I would examine it to satisfy myself.
when handing a weapon back you had to declare and show it was clear before it would be received by the other person. Who would then examine the weapon to make sure no bullet was stuck in the chamber.
I think complacency is the cause of most accidents in the states, with the bullets in a bag not in some holders to make examination easier

It is also reported, Alec Baldwin's stunt double accidently fired a blank and the prop master also accidently shot them self in the foot.

It sounds to me, there was a serious lapse in safety protocol on set, or none at all.

And then the likes of the west proclaim to be democratic, as if.

From 2025, NZ are going to increase the age limit for smoking by 1 year. Then each year the smoking age limit will increase by one year. So basically, anyone under the age of 14 will never legally be able to buy cigarettes.

 

They will just grow their own.

 

Or the far worse outcome, a large black market will be created where both tobacco and cigarettes have god-knows-what in them to bulk them up, and people will end up with far worse health issues than the effects of smoking for a few years.

True, then we will get so called gardener's seeking advice for growing weed, instead of what weed killer to use. I will PM you later.

 

My house is opposite a Bus stop, I noticed that a young lady had parked in the middle of this Bus Stop, with plenty of parking spaces very near by.

I heard a big bang and a vehicle had hit this car so hard that it ended up on the pavement.

Ok I'm an ex Bus Driver and I know how annoying this is. I have no sympathy for this lady, perhaps in the future she will park in a sensible manner.
