You'll have to forgive me, JR, but my middle name is "Thomas" so I'm not a "Believer" so Fish are, for me, part of Nature and Evolution and not of a Entity only recognised by Man...apologies to those who have the moral courage to believe.:love30::love30:

What really irritates me is Companies such as Car Insurance and Breakdown organisations having a policy of automatic renewals when the annual policy ends.:gaah:
The AA has sent me notification that they intend to automatically renew the Breakdown service for my Horseless Carriage at the end of this month which, despite many phone calls to them saying I do not want any kind of automatic renewals, they still try to go ahead with it.
I always search, annually, for the best offer regarding Car Insurance and so have no allegiance to any Insurance Company, as they have none to me. But, these days, it seems that when you look for insurance it is usually bundled with a minimum of Breakdown service so I will upgrade that according to my wants. I also upgrade parts of the basic Insurance Policy if I think I need this or that, but that's my choice.
But with automatic renewals it forces you to contact the Company to stop the automatic renewal and, for me, it really makes me think that they think customers will roll over and they're taking you for granted.
So, I've politely written to the AA telling them, for the umpteenth time, that I do not want automatic renewals attached to any business with them unless I agree at the start to it.........do you think they will listen.:dunno::scratch::doh::wallbanging:

I sometimes think the best way is to just cancel the direct debit and dont tell them.
Simple enough to do if you have online banking.

They don't give a sh*t about you so why should you show them any courtesy.
