It's a bit of a circus. I hate this, but I'm agreeing with wee krankie - truss is rubbish and they should just call a general election. This shouldn't be permitted to carry on.

I think the method of picking a new conservative leader needs sorting out, the whole system stinks, especially when they are in power.
I still think the blame goes back to Boris for carrying on like a naughty public school boy and thinking he could get away with it.
A complete idiot who threw it away.

I remember when Boris won the election they were saying the Tories would be in power for the next two terms, possibly three. That certainly went against the wall.

The party is such a joke now they should pass the baton in embarrassment. I'm fully expecting truss to get to PMQs and look (more) blank before muttering 'wibble' and dancing out the door

I wouldn't mind so much but Labour are having to do nothing and tell us nothing.
Conservatives have gone into self destruct mode and doing Labour's job for them.

Regards Thanking people, I have been brought up the same from 1947, personally write a thank you note or letter etc

Then a couple of weeks ago, I was out on my mobility scooter, parked it and went into the stationers for a paper
When I came out I got on my buggy and the theft alarm went off, passers by were staring,
After about a minute the young lady in the shop ran out to see if I was OK thinking it was a distress alarm, All was sorted
Later that morning I went back to the shop, thanked her and gave her a small box of chocolates

Agree - she has just killed any hope of any authority that she may have had (and that wasn't much); it seems now that it is the media that run the show by whipping up a storm and forcing policies to either be changed or brought in. We may as well put Philip Schofield in as PM and have Rylan as Chancellor.

They reckon we could see a Labour government with, as the next largest party, an SNP opposition!

I think Eddie has a lot of personal politics to deal with first.

With 4 million voters in Scotland and nearly 39 million in England alone it would seem unlikely.
