Call 111 @NigelJ and tell them your GP surgery is not responding.
You can then at least get to talk to a GP and they will tell you to go to A &E if they think you need to.

Not much use if you have something on going I know but at least it lets them know they are not doing their job properly and need a kick up the arse.

My GPs is slowly improving from how they were a year ago, not great but better.

I noticed driving examiners striking almost throughout December on the chart @Loofah. Typical of a government department. :frown:

That's very unfair and those with allotments should know better @Upsydaisy. Many years ago bonfires weren't allowed to be lit until after sunset. I have an incinerator for the small amounts I need to burn, but light it late in the day. Even so, I always check the wind direction and walk up the garden to see if my neighbour has washing on the line.

I set my bonfire up in the daylight, set it alight just as it's getting dark. I use a head torch until it's got hold. Lots of thing laying around to trip over so it's a bit of fun.

Border staff have piped up that they're striking over Christmas to New year too. It's like the unions have realised there's finite money but they all want it. Shambolic.

They have put what they call operation "Brock" into action on the M20 going to Dover and the tunnel, basically means the M20 becomes a 20mile long lorry park and all the traffic has to use one carriageway, so it was probably expected.

It has been expected, my son was warned a while back about the possible disruptions at airports when he booked his flight out in a fortnights time.

Border force staff say the strike won't affect people outward bound but will affect those people coming home.

Well, I got the fork for which I drove to the U.S. but was really disappointed that those people are getting gouged even worse than we are up here.

Their petrol used to be much cheaper, and their groceries are the same price tag as ours but their dollar should go a lot further since it is worth more than ours and their minimum wage is a lot lower. It is sad to see.

After paying for the fuel to drive there and come back, the fork cost me approximately $75 - that's one salad fork!

but on a positive note, here is the new coin being minted to honour Queen Elizabeth II
