I think it mentioned an area called Luton, not sure but I think that is actually part of Gillingham but not sure.

Hello just don't go down Luton Road which is in Chatham if you are a stranger I often walk down there as I have lots of owl relatives down there  every town as a no go area "Luton AKA Cabbage Island "is the Medway Towns :heehee::heehee::heehee:

Luton Road shows little sign of violence during the day.
With a primary school on one end, mosque on the other and wide range of businesses, it appears innocuous to just about any passer-by.
However, with 108 violent and sexual crimes recorded there in a one-year period it is one of the most violent streets in Chatham.
In fact, this actually makes it one of the most dangerous areas in Kent.

Your not wrong. In Cumbria we have a higher percentage of sex offenders per 100k population compared to the national average. Myself and others have asked why, all we get is they are well monitored. For a county that has a high proportion of adults but a low proportion of children and younger adults than the national average, it does lead myself and others to believe they have been relocated to our area.

I think every town centre after dark has it's problems. In Ramsgate It's mainly Youngsters, who IMO want a smack. Sorry mustn't upset the Snowflakes.

I agree, I wouldn't go into town after dark to be honest, not that I want to but there has been a few stabbings and a couple of deaths.
Dare I say it, but its since all the office blocks have been bought up and turned into housing by the London boroughs, who then ship in their undesirable residents because its cheaper for them than housing them in London.

I see that the UK Pandemic Preparedness policy documents were last updated in 2020. Has Steve forgot about how we ran around like headless chickens when Covid-19 hit us?

I feel an e-mail coming on.....

The roads are breaking up big time around here, went out this morning and piles of tarmac and holes appearing everywhere.
God knows what it will be like come spring.
We will all be getting breathalised for wandering all over the road trying to avoid the potholes.

And once again DHL fail to deliver. They could not access the address. Odd since Amazon delivered at about the same times as they were due.
