I shall continue to use Morrisons as I'm used to them and I do like their range of products I'm really just pointing out how stupid their loyalty card system is.

I cant say I have ever relied on it much, but up until a couple of years ago you used to just get points and at 500 points you got a £5 voucher, they even gave points on petrol then as well, but that has stopped since covid.

I'd end up most years with at least £30 to spend at the end of the year at Christmas.

Apparently this was not what customers wanted:biggrin: and they preferred to get instant bargains.
    Yeah, like hell they did.:roflol:

I've never been in an Iceland store John, I was put off by a S. African bloke who was over here short term, and I used to give him a lift to work.

He always shopped in Iceland and said to me once, in his very gruff accent," I dont care what it tastes like as long as you get a lot of it".:roflol:

Morrisons. The official reason for ending the points scheme was that it was too complicated for customers to understand..Im not making this up. The real reason is that it was costing too much. The Aldi price match guarantee was also too costly. Still shop at Morrisons because their own brand is the tastiest imho. Dont bother with the app..too much hassle and no points means no data on my shopping habits.

I believe they are lucky. Had two black cats in America and one in UK/here for 20 years. Sadly Boo (the last one) died in October 2016 and I had my disaster on Friday the 13th 2017. My luck has left me.

Hope you are feeling better now.

Slipped on cobblestone and subluxed my knee. A few days later getting ready to go to ER. tripped up the step in the lounge and shunted the stem of my hip replacement through my femur. Following this I had the knee replaced, got infection in my hip/thigh so had hip totally removed and on antibiotics for five months and bedridden/wheelchair bound till March 2019 when new hip put in. In the meantime I have had a couple of mini strokes to add interest!!! Come back Boo! You did ask, but I am a force to be reckoned with and the only thing left now is to walk unaided so I can do more in the garden (awkward with a walker).

Wow Victoria. Go for it girl. Mind I still don't believe in unlucky days or cats. Bad luck happens on any day of the week statistically speaking and we have had lots of black cats over the years without noticing any increase or decrease in good or bad fortune.
Hope the walking unaided becomes a reality for you.

Thanks. Still can't get my head around the books. Well, it is working around the Kindle aspect of things the way they want it and doing sketches. You inspire me knowing it can be done ... but I do wish I could borrow your son! ;)
