          Just waiting for an Openreach engineer to come and look at our internet..yet again .

          They first came out over a fortnight ago when our provider contacted them after running a test and detecting issues. It was decided that a new router was probably the answer and that the engineer would send a report to our provider requesting that one should be sent to us.
          We phoned them last Friday to enquire what was happening and they checked their records and.....apparently the engineer reported that we had said that we would fix the problem ourselves!!!!:yikes: :mad: We said that was not what happened and that we were very dependant on the internet for communicating to a disabled family member.......so we're back to the beginning again and waiting for the engineer, it had better not be the same one as before...for his sake!!!:heehee:

            Had a lorry outside of the house 1 hour ago, i knew that he was in the wrong lane as he should be in the other lane that run parlalle with ours and we've had them before because the farmer says 2nd on the left when it should be 3rd on the left, well chating to the driver he was in a moody i told him not to go any on down the lane as you will not be able to turn as it's wet (if it was dry then you can turn but it will take a lot of time a many back-forwards to turn) he said a few rude words so i said "well carry on" :yahoo: 1 hour later he is coming back out the lane, not forwards but backwards :hapfeet:well i did try to warn him :heehee: i just smiled at him as he past the house :pcthwack::biggrin:

              We also get a fair amount of that too down our lane. I don't know how they manage to reverse all the way up again as its quite bendy!!!:yikes: I just close my eyes and cross my fingers.:blue thumb:

                Not really a moan but more of an observation. My new bus pass came today (they come automatically) but it is now for 5 years not 10! do they (the Councils) know something we don't?

                    Just a little moan from me. I'm arranging the renewal of insurance on both our cars so looked on the Which? website. They directed me to the confused.com site. So I went there and got some good quotes. All good so far. :blue thumb:

                    Then on the confused site it said that to arrange the insurance I should follow the link to the insurance company and it told me what links I click on there. The full details were there but when I went to click on the last link, to sort it out, it told me that I have to do it through confused.com. :rolleyespink:

                    I'm confused :scratch:

                    The insurance company don't do phone calls so I sent them a quick email and got a response quickly - but not to the most important part of my message. :sad: I'll send a more detailed email.

                          Got a blackmail email yesterday threatening to release a video of me viewiing adult sites. They are going to send the video to everyone on my contact list unless I pay their ransom in bitcoins.

                          Then I remembered I haven't got a camera on my pc nor visit adult sites. Maybe it's a scam unless they consider gardeners corner as an adult site and they film me from outside my study window. I must shut the curtains in future.
