Just been to the hospital, it took three quarters of an hour to cover the 4 miles or so, I was parked for the same amount of time and it cost £2 then over half an hour to get home.

Temporary traffic lights and hole diggers everywhere.
If I see another sarcastic sign saying "sorry for the delay while this essential work is being carried out " I will probably hit some one over the head with it.

Some years ago I got a similar email saying they have a video of me, taken from my computer camera, of me having sex with a young lady. I asked if I could have a copy of it to boast to my friends about it.

GC is definitely an adult site just look at the average age of members. It's not simply adult, it's mature.

A while back I started using Morrisons on line shopping.
I used it about 3 times and found I was getting charged 10p for about 6 or 7 plastic bags each time.

So I moved over to Tesco, I've had 2 lots from them and it has worked ok.

Yesterday's delivery never turned up even though the website was telling me it was coming right up to half an hour before the time it was due.

Rang them this morning and the excuse is they cancelled the delivery and refunded me.
When asked why they said we don't know.:dunno:

And the website is still saying its been delivered.

@pete Sainsbury's are about the best of the bunch with Ocado (who also 'host' M&S stuff), from the ones I've tried. I certainly wouldn't put up with that from Tesco and their products have always struck me as a bit "meh", pretty adequate but unremarkable. Haven't tried Morrisons but I think 10p for bags in total is pretty reasonable, or did you mean for each bag?

                  2 things today:

1 - Renewal quote from Admiral - £264. New quote from LV - £176. Admiral did not quote on GoCompare or Money Supermarket. They can't charge existing customers more than new customers - I wonder if they are trying to fleece renewal customers by staying off comparison web sites?

2 - Neighbour took delivery of his new '22' plate car today. He now has the newest plate in the cul-de-sac - people are not at all happy . I see a flush of new cars coming in 6 months time :dbgrtmb:.

You know, that's not good enough - what if someone is house bound or about to run out of food? Same has happened to my brother with Sainbury's.

10 or it might have been 20p per bag.
A bit too far away for my liking, never forgiven them for the cod war.:roflol:

Blimey, I'd possibly consider 10p but no way would I pay 20p per bag twice! :yikes: They'd definitely lose me as a customer...

Wow, that's bad for them! The only time I've had a Sainsbury's order cancelled they notified me a few hours before it was due and explained that they simply lacked enough drivers due to Covid. I can tolerate that because a reason was given and adequate time provided to make alternative arrangements.
