There's some people who just won't take advice, or follow health and safety.
He probably wanted to see where he was going and as you will remember safety glasses were thing of the future. ;)
The advice from Ken Dodd was, Aitch , blow your nose and keep blinking, it will work it's way out.:hate-shocked:

I thought the problem was with advice from a colleague. "Keep your eye on that one, Harold".

          Oops:

The energy price cap is expected to rise from £1,971 to £2,800 a year in October, the boss of Ofgem has told MPs.

So is there any point in having a price cap if you just raise it to whatever the companies want.

The MP's will just add more to their expenses.

We are seeing pictures of Boris Johnson today at the No 10 parties.

But why are all the others that are there blotted out when we see the pictures.

Whoever they are they have their snouts in the public trough and we, as tax payers, have a right to know who they are.

Calls for Boris to resign yeah I agree, but so should this unknown rabble.

There has always been different rules for people in these positions, I don't see anything different, and if the other lot had been in charge it would have still gone on IMO.
They have just asked a minister, if we were to have another lockdown do you think any one would take any notice.
                    I doubt it mate.

It's about time this whole thing was dropped. There's plenty of other things to worry about in this country other than the rights or wrongs of a party. Many people are too happy to point the finger when they've done exactly the same themselves, breaking covid regulations.

This weekend is the Ride London Event which extends out into Essex. The signage, as usual, is atrocious. The big signs on our road say that there are closures both Saturday and Sunday and there will be no access to our County Town - I bet the businesses will love that! :th scifD36:

The signs don't actually say where the closures are :wallbanging:. We're about 15 miles from the town and the closure is 14 miles from where the signs are without saying anything about it.

Some friends had been arranging a birthday party for their kid for the last 6 months and they live in a village just the other side of the town. If we were going to the party it would mean an additional 80 miles of driving - bad for the pocket and very bad for the environment. Cancelling a kid's party is not a disaster but for weddings and funerals it can be a serious disruption.

The route also goes through small villages and some people have told me that they are banned from parking their cars outside their houses (they will be towed away).
