He mentioned that his own security team don't have access to current intelligence and threat assessment

It's quite possible that neither do HMPF, unless they came to an agreement with the rest of europe :roflol:

If I'm reading it right - he also likes the fact that the Police have greater 'powers' than some private security force - which is another reason why it can't happen.

He does in the States but over here they are not allowed to be armed and the police have the intel they won't.

Talking about Royals - I don't understand why Prince Andrew doesn't just attend the US Court and let justice take its course. He's got nothing to hide - so nothing can be proven....

That comes with the territory of being a celebrity though? He chose to withdraw from royal life and royal duties, thus he is the same as any other celebrity (except perhaps somewhat less interesting)

I think the problem there is that it is a civil case so he is on a loser no matter what he does. There is going to be a pay off on that one to make her go away, but that is all she wants anyway.

I've just looked up the price of a 2x4x10 piece of pressure treated piece of wood and a coil of 10g wire that I will need for a spring project. :yikes:

Think I'll have to flip over the border to get a better deal.

Yes @Fat Controller that is the stated size however it is really 1.5" x 3.5" x10' It will cost me £10 for that one piece. I've worked out a new location for some of my solar panels and this board will be part of the base for mounting them.

And the wire will be for handling the number of amps the array will need.

And now I can moan because I've got all the "figuring" for this job done and I will have to wait until at least April before I can start digging the trenches

On a quick google without looking far that piece of timber would cost about £15 at the fencing place up the road from me.
