Imagine what that score would be if Labour had someone credible at the helm!

There doesn't seem to be any one credible in any party.

According to the YouGov poll for the Times, Labour are on 54 points, with the Tories on 21 points. Such a result, if replicated at a general election, would mean total wipeout for the Tory party, leaving them with just three seats, with Labour on 564 seats. The SNP would be the official opposition with 51 seats, according to the Electoral Calculus website.
BBC had it a lot closer at 400 odd to about 53.

Just seen a lorry go around a blind bend at speed he didn't think there may be a cyclist coming the other way in a single track road, looking at it back on CCTV i think one of them needs new underware as it would have been very close, not 1.5 meters more like 4 inches between them

Just caught a bit of Starmer's speech and he is just the same as the Tories.
He promised 8 million new jobs, for plumbers builders etc.
Where are they going to come from, there is a shortage because no body wants to do those jobs apart from people arriving by rubber dinghy at Dover.

Likewise thousands of new nurses and doctors.

Something really wrong with the education system in this country in that we cant get people to do these jobs.

The bloke is as much a liar as all the rest of them.

I wouldn't call them liars, it's more that they are on another planet. They don't go shopping to find butter has doubled in price nor are they the slightest bit concerned about their energy bills as they make so much money on the stock market. None of them are in touch with your average worker on the street because none of them have ever had a proper job. Most of them live in London which has a post office on every corner, every type of bank within a short walk and excellent public transport. They think the rest of the uk is like that too.

I still think they are Liars, because they know when they say these things that it is not achievable.

This is why I lost my mojo for cycling. Driving standards and driver's attitudes have sadly slipped so far it's dangerous on the roads now. Most drivers still drive well, but for the growing minority that don't, it doesn't matter that they're a minority when they're in command of several tonnes of steel.

Maybe the PM and cabinet need a steering committee of 'normal' types that live in the real world
