Latest Moan From You and Me 2023

I wont go into what has sparked off this moan but its about people who dont own cars, say, I dont need a car, say all the time how they are really good as they use public transport all the time and live in the town.
And as soon as they are offered a lift, grab it.

 

I don't think I know of anyone who doesn't own a car. In this road most houses have two or three, but this is only a village so you need a car because the public transport is rubbish.
One house has 3 cars a van and two motorbikes. Only 2 adults live there

 

I had a mate who would say, "Will take your car because you know where we are going", yer and my petrol being used

 

I agree, most people do have cars, but there are some who live in town centres and brag about not needing a car to get around, and all these car drivers clogging up the roads.

I used to give one of those a lift to work every day for 6 yrs when he was made redundant and his new job was out of the town.

But that was a few years ago, I'm really referring to some of the stupid comments you see on facebook.

 

Bragging about being so up to date, are we? OK, so "Facebook" is dead, it's called "Meta" nowadays.

It's amazing how many friends you gain when you have a van capable of moving lots of stuff or large items. They pop up whether they have a car or not!

 

It's what some call "Farceberk".

 

New mobile is driving me mad ! It is impossible to use it ! Been trying to contact BT but it is IMPOSSIBLE !
