            Windows Updates :frown:

Since October I've had 11, they are a proper nuisance having to wait for the PC to slowly chug on shutdown, then having the same thing on start up.

Last Spring I bought quite an expensive Lantern shaped bird feeder, it look great but the seed gets stuck and it lets in the rain.
The two from Poundland are fine.

There is an override button @JWK but it doesn't allow permanent disabling. If the ignition is used without starting the engine - or the next time the car is started, it reverts back to stop/start. It's a Ford Puma.

Cumulative updates are the worst John. :doh:My laptop isn't a year old yet and takes just minutes, but my other half 's laptop is on it's last legs and will be replaced in the new year sales. His can take up half a day or more to download the updates.

Your override button seems to behave the same as mine @Sheal and I can start mine and leave the engine running to defrost. The big problem with mine is I can't lock it externally whilst the engine is running, so I can't take the risk of leaving it unattended to defrost.

I dont have stop and start but it starts screaming at me if the keys are not in the car when the engine is running.

I can't lock mine either. It's a keyless entry and the doors are locked/unlocked by touching either of the front door handles. I don't need to defrost mine as it's garaged at home.

That doesn't happen with mine. As long as I have the fob with me I can walk away from the car, until it automatically cuts out of course. When the engine and ignition (start button) are off with doors closed and I forget to touch the handle, it will automatically lock when I've walked a certain distance from it.
