Good morning my local swimming pool/leisure centre is closing as they cannot afford the increase in their energy bills ,lets hope that my local crematorium doesen't follow suit

 

I certainly hope so for our Crem as we're off to it today. Seventh funeral this year

 

That's terrible! They must have been close to shutting anyway.
Our council is apparently on the verge of filling a 117 (might be 114) which is in essence, bankruptcy. So that would probably have a similar effect on our local pool and leisure centre due to subsidies.

Now that is ridiculous, surely one of the workers would have enough common sense just to cut off the bolts. I suppose the contractors get paid for each stage of work, so it's not in their interest to fix it first time.

 

Poor chap has just been diagnosed with dementia.

 

Yeah it seems to be one contractor that does the paint then another contractor to come and fill them with a papier mache. Basically it's a cash cow funded by council tax payers.
