I dont mind these things until they start trying to tell me what I want, at that point I just turn them off, I know what I want and they can go and shove their app that I never asked for.

 

I'm still waiting for a response to my request for the correct parts to be shipped to me. I drove to the U.S. to pick them up, paid a warehouser to hold onto them for me and had to pay to come back into Canada. Now I know I'll have to do it again since they shipped the wrong stuff but here I sit waiting for them to even respond to request which included a pic of the box with the wrong goods in it etc etc... :(

On a more cheerful note, I've just seen a pic of one of @pete 's work mates. Reminds me of a lot of our politicians!

I'm seeing a lot more people that will not reverse back to a pasting place (in single track roads) even if they are the close's to one, A guy who work's near by also said about it, so i said if you reverse back for one of theses people do it slowly and do it as you are bad at reversing drive onto the grass and then pull forwards to get straight again etc etc and then don't go into the first placing place go to the next one or even the next after that, well today i notice that the boss of the worker done that to a person that wouldn't reverse back

 

I've been doing that for years. You can see the annoyance and frustration on their faces, which gives a great deal of satisfaction and makes up for it to a certain extent

I was driving a Bus once on a narrow Road?Lane, the Car driver wanted me to reverse, no way matey, I would/could sit there all day and get paid for it!

 

I think single track lanes are ok if you use them a lot and know where the passing places are, if you are unfamiliar with a certain road it can get difficult, especially when you get people in 4x4s who expect you in your lower and less likely to get traction ford focus to pull into a totally mud filled crater that the local farmer has produced.

"Get off my road" comes to mind.

 

A friend of mine was towing a trailer, on his way to the tip, when coming up the hill towards him was another car they both stopped and he thought they would back up to the gateway about 50 yards behind them. No; the other driver got out and told my friend to reverse back up the hill round the bend till they found a passing spot. My friend got out of his vehicle locked it and suggested he should reverse the other vehicle to the gateway after a few minutes this was agreed.
