E mail from natwest this morning, we are lowering your interest rate due to the drop in the base rate.
That was quick.
I don't remember it going up that fast when the base rate started rising.

 

Why is that in the Moan thread @pete? Something to be cheerful about n'est-ce pas?

Never ever eat tinned or packet soups cosof all the hidden sugars and E numbers.

I make a very good tomato, orange and ginger soup with no fat of any kind. It's delish and good all year round. In winter or miserable wet weather i often make a Cullen Skink but just for OH and me. Possum doesn't care for leeks or smoked haddock. We all like pea and ham, lentil and bacon, butternut squash soups.

 

Thjat sounds great. Our Aussie friends served us a delicious Spiced Pumpkin soup.

 

It's my own recipe @Victoria - great for when I need something light or when one of us has a cold.
