I think the problem is that they see train drivers and the likes as poorly paid.

Any one below that level are not worth worrying about as they don't have a union or if they strike no body will notice.

Yep that was exactly our thinking when we got a pedigree kitten. Unfortunately though we've recently paid out rather a lot as you say. Many vet practices now don't have the facilities (or manpower) to offer overnight accommodation if required so your pet is automatically transferred to a local veterinary 'hospital' ('Vets Now' in our case). Our Murphy was on a drip for 2 nights and it cost us well over £2000!

Could you explain how the Tories would have done it better?

They wouldn't - but also wouldn't have promised to sort it out in six months.

They wouldn't. All our politicians side with the wealthy elite over ordinary people. A wealth tax is a complete no-brainer, and instead they hammer those on an annual income of £12-15k with frozen thresholds and withdrawing the fuel payment.

Acknowledge a few have gained great riches at the expense of the many and then take steps to adjust that. For example, outlaw the purchase of any residential property by a foreign asset management company, close all tax loopholes, and so on.

Next it will be dropping the triple lock and 10p on fuel duty.
The energy cap is rising again.

My guess is they may even freeze pension levels before too long. This drive to get people to buy extra yrs may all be a ploy to get money in now before they take any action. I think bus passes and free prescriptions are likely to go, except for those on pension credit.

Does anyone know why they have changed the colour of the tops on milk bottles, the ones I buy used to be blue but for some strange reason they are now the same white colour as the bottle.
I keep trying to pour it out without removing the top.

It has been acknowledged a few posts up that the Tories wouldn't have done any better than the Labour party so by the same token, the Labour party can't do any worse.
I'm not particularly a Labour supporter. If there was a left of centre party, I'd happily give them a go but I think it's a bit early for so much negativity.
