Latest Moan From You and Me 2024

If every person of voting age signed the petition for an election it still wouldn't happen. They know Labour will be wiped out come the next election and they will do their 'best' to destroy the finances of this country before that happens.

 

I'm not sure there is anyone worth voting for, the problem these days is its all about protest votes as nobody is viable or trustworthy.
The system is broke.

 

I think it's because Zoe Ball's leaving @Loofah , and a listener therefore suggested they should start early because she'll be away before Christmas. I don't really listen to her, but I heard the start of the show today.

The problem with voting for a party they previously thought couldn't win is that they are correct, the smaller parties can't win. However they can split the vote and allow the party you really don't want to have in power, in power. Hopefully the historically Conservative voters who had a protest vote won't make the same mistake again.

The Parliamentary Ombudsman recommended compensation but as I understand it, the Tory government were spared the need to comply by being kicked out and Labour are reneging on their previous promise to do something. As fairygirl says, there's a surprise.....
