I don't wash my car very often because every time I do I find more and more marks on it...Ok I blame myself for the scrapes on the alloys...but my husband just tells people I park by touch It's all the other lumps and bumps I find and they're usually from car parks...Even If I park in a spot well away from any other car I come back to my car and some numpty has parked right next to me...
It's a bit like going for a picnic and parking in a lovely pleasant spot well away from others then all of a sudden someone parks up right next to you and out jump a tribe and the biggest angry looking dog on the planet

I've seen empty car parks apart from just a few cars and someone will come along and find a car to park next to,, what is wrong with people.

 

People park near my car because it is so brightly coloured, they use it as a landmark!

It's not just cars, some lorry drivers do it as well, where i used to work there were a few driver like that, i even parked my lorry in the middle of the yard and said to the transport manger wait and see some one will park next to it, shore enough _ _ _ (name of driver) came in drop of the trailar and parked the unit next to mine given that there is parking place's in the yard with reg numbers on the ground so that you can park the right lorry in the right parking place

 

Just tried to get an appointment to see the doctor, recorded message says use online , online it says if you need an urgent appointment call 111, back on phone, you are no 9 in the queue, hang up and use our online service instead.

I give up.
tried the contact button, it just takes you back to the page that tells you to call 111.

I've listened to the recorded message, which is a good 3 minutes long, about 4 times now, and the online part is totally pointless, I think its just to stop people bothering them.

If you dont have blood pressure before you start the process, you will have by the time you give up.

 

I have also experienced cars parking right next to mine so that I can't open the door widely, even when the car park is almost empty ... very annoying because I have difficulty getting in and out of the car unless the door is wide open.

When I go on the bus I don't like people sitting right next to me, especially if there's plenty of room ... and they rarely do. I think my scowl scares them off

 

My daughter returned to her parked car to find someone had parked so close that she couldn’t get in it- she was heavily pregnant and huge. Luckily she spotted a random man thin enough to get in and drive it out of the parking ‘space’ for her

 

@pete calling (or use online option) 111 is perhaps a good option as often they can get a GP appointment for you.

 

Yeah But I'm trying to get a referral to see a specialist, its not an emergency.
They only seem to be seeing people who queue up outside in the mornings, they don't give proper appointments anymore, it seems.

 

A coincidence, I washed our car yesterday. When we went out this morning, I looked up at the sunroof and there were over a dozen small dead flies on top. I used normal car wash stuff, well diluted and rinsed off afterwards. Haven’t noticed this happening before.

In our local s'market car park, they just park over two spaces - sometimes more, and that's even when the place is virtually empty. They simply can't park because they have cars that are too big for them, and they're too lazy to park a bit farther away where it would have less impact on others.
I collect my daughter from work and do my shopping at the same time. I was sitting waiting for her one night, when a guy drove in. He parked in the row behind me- a bit farther along. He got out and was round the back looking at the car, so I thought maybe something was wrong. I then realised he had 'parked' over two spaces, but also with the back end hanging out into the access road. I thought he'd get back in to move it, but no...he was obviously perfectly happy with his immaculate parking, and off he went into the supermarket....

 

£70 fine down here if you are not within the white lines of a supermarket parking space.
