But I do read the RTFM, and still don't understand how something works, because they always contain modern technical words that I don't understand.
And by the way, I didn't know what RTFM meant until I read the above comments.

Manuals are written by technical experts which is impossible to understand by the buyer.

A total waste of time for me, I might as well never have gone there. What I learnt, I learnt in spite of going to school ...

My mind also goes blank when read things, even i had to ask the teather at school "how do you spell it" answaer was "don't be stuid" and i got a clout around the earhole so it put me off asking and because i'm tone deaf i hear word differntly so i get them mixed up with word that sounds the same, Miss Jiff love it when i come out with silly things al because i hear them wrong but she is good and will try and exsplane but i go back to the first word because it's what i know and tis in my brain
Sorry i'm a pain in the back side

Sport........... a game involving bodily exercise. Why are Darts, Snooker, Billiards classed as a sport on Sport News ?
When do games become sport in today's terminology ? Surely Chess, Scrabble and Monopoly should be included too.
Have to say I'm not a sports fan but the recent hoo ha about the 17 year old demi millionaire did make me wonder - is he playing Sport or is he playing a game ?

I tend to feel sorry for his opponents, the media just seem to ignore them.

He doesn't have the right build for a sportsman, too many doughnuts by the looks of it.:dunno:

Our bin men are going on strike until April. We have just had a 20% hike in Council Tax and this is what we get. Labour run of course - actually in special measures. Maybe they need completely winding up and sack the lot. Everyone is sick of them. Birmingham if you're wondering.

I'm going to do the ironing to let off some steam.

Dump your rubbish on the town hall steps.

some years back our local authority changed from running their own bin collections to contracting it out. Some time after that the men went on strike. The council told the company that they were in breach of contract and they were going to give the contract to another company. The contractor told the men that if they lose the account they would have to lay off a lot of the workforce. Things got sorted out.

The worst ones for me are the ikea flat pack ones with no words, just stick men and lots of letters and numbers

You have to remember that the instructions for most things were originally written in Mandarin Chinese and translated by an illiterate Russian with no language skills into 'English' of sorts.

My moan is that I wasn’t one of the 20 million to watch Gavin and Stacey till the end I managed 20 minutes.. and thought what a load of old manure lol , I thought the acting bad, the accents over the top ..and story line boring. I just don’t find it funny … the Essex family wife comes over as the family in Annabels Party if you remember that …

I maysound like a nerd but i asked my brother and various friends and all of them said no they didn’t watch it …

                      moan over lol

I've never come across so much hype about a programme as that has had this Christmas period from the BBC, they are still prattling on about in the News programme this morning, and as I said earlier, I'm yet to come across anyone who watches it.

I've never seen any episodes of it and never will, I don't enjoy that sort of program, I just find them boring.
