I have taken a lump hammer to the hard drive of every PC / laptop I have ever disposed of.

Speaking of tech disposal, what do people do with old smart phones? I may have to engage with the whole concept soon, and I don’t want another lot of obsolete stuff cluttering up the place down the line.

IMV, there ought to be responsible end-of-life options for everything we buy. With 9 billion of us on the planet, landfill is not a viable long-term solution to waste.

I think you can send your smart phones to Nigeria, they are very happy to wipe them for you and save any info that might be still lurking on them.

I dont trust recycling any of this kind of stuff, bonfire maybe remove the battery first :roflol:

My computers have never needed any assistance in dying. They generally do it when they seem to be fit and healthy and I'm in the middle of doing something. That 'something' is often me thinking "I must do a backup of this computer"!

As we already have a Drug Squad, perhaps it's time for a Sweet Squad too ?
OTOH, it's also down to those who buy this rubbish to educate themselves and their children on any possible health risks. If you decline to buy, there will be no profit in promoting / selling such crap. Odd how everything always seems to be "someone else's" fault these days rather than an acceptance of any responsibility :wallbanging:

I'm not sure if this is a moan, or just a head-scratching laugh... I like some flavours of Yogi tea. What I'm moaning about is the little tags they attach to the teabag, with a "thought for today" on it. Today's reads: "Knowledge is just a revelation of tomorrow within you".

Government will be debating in Parliament, on the 17th of March, “Introduce a compensation scheme for WASPI women".

They will say they can't afford it but it will be interesting to see how many Labour MP's vote for it - if it comes to a vote.

Have you ever seen packaging like this for a few tablets, its well OTT in my opinion.Up until recently these just came in a small plastic bottle.

I have to take some tablets that are packed like that, but mine only have five on a sheet with a space in the sixth. Nutty. But then I suppose if you have wonky fingers it might help you to dispense them. And you can write the day of the week on the foil too, to help you keep on top of your routine.

I've just spent 10 minutes getting them all out the wrapping and into a bottle, cant be bothered trying to get into these all the time, along with others, the capsules break if you just try to push them through the back so have to use a knife the break the backing to get them out.
