Where is John's post?! And your's about the hi-vis vest? Is this the right thread or have you tidied those posts away too Zigs?!

I wanted to let you know that I got home in the early hours of this morning to find the council had thoughtfully bagged up all the leaves into a dozen huge sacks.

So under the cover of darkness and in my heels, I lifted the lot! :D

        No sweeping for me!

Ah, a stealth leafmolder with shielding, if anyone had noticed you they would have been totally distracted by the sound of clicking stilettoes, I know I would:dbgrtmb:

Yeah, sorry, this thread had wandered off into a trick or treat thread & I didn't want to loose the Leafy Moldy aspect so I split the threads, then no one else looked at the split off one:DOH:

            I'll sort it out later:dbgrtmb:

Picked up another two bags this evening!
Did a small air punch and the words "Get in" were uttered.

Im tempted to wander the neighbourhood tracking down bags of leaves.

You've probably been asked this a thousand times already, but how do you get your leaves to rot down that fast?

Sorry Jane, thought i'd replied to this last night, must have been distracted:cheers::DOH:
Those were green elm leaves stripped from tree felling in august. I put them in a dustbin & kept them wet. Still got a few months to do before it breaks up into the lovely dark brown stuff, dark, almost......Black....

Black.. Black as the night.. Black as the Tomb.. Black.. Black as the Endless Sleep that awaits us all... BLACK.

Can you hear them weeping Mother?... Mother???
