Wonderful job, well done - you must be purring now, after all the fizzing of putting it together.

BTW - when I got my glass house wired - the electrician put in two sockets just inside the door - which was really good for running external appliances as well as internal, but the best thing he did was to put the light switch above the door. Thats really handy on a dark night - just to reach above your head rather than fumbling around on the side. The RCD is in the kitchen where its wired in.

Well I knackered myself yesterday trying to hump all the staging in with minimum of help - Martin was off on a boys day out.

I have left 6 ft of staging out as I prefer space without it. electrician comes tomorrow - well actually its a friend that just happens to be an electrician. Thanks for the tip Fran, very useful advice.

I have already got the heater in and running as there are loads of electric cables in the stable, but it needs a good sort out and light switch above door is a great idea.

Will post more pics when I have washed m plant pots, they look disgustingafter being in the stable all winter.

I think I have caught something of BM - is there any cure?

I love the greenhouse even on a dull day and its really widened the scope of plants I can grow, as well as tidied the back yard up!

why do we sit here when we have a perfectly good house and garden!

Perhaps the view, even thoug it is of the dustbins behind

still room for a few more plants though

I just came across this thread Waco and followed you the whole way with all your trials and tribulations. What a wonderful job you both have done, and I'm sure you enjoy sitting in there sipping on your wine and viewing all your hard work. I hope that the flood water does not reach it though, you sure don't need that kind of automatic watering.

Looking back again, my diminutive one, it's definitely becoming a jungle out there!

What will happen when you go back to Stravinsky? ... no, I think I've got that wrong! [IMG]

Hi there Roders, hi there all, no I have not really fallen out of love with you all, its just hard to keep garden going and job AND GC at this time of year - one good thing the rain has done is to give me chance to catch up with you all again.

another problem is that greenhouse area has taken up a lot of my time but is just a small area of the garden and its a lot of hard work to maintain it all this time of the year, but I do think of you all especially when I come accross plants I have been sent by members.

Hi Waco, nice opportunity to catch up on the thread - I am sure I must have missed bits.

Its looking really good. I am glad to see you have lots of pots. When you find an easy way of watering them do let us all know. The only good thing about this rain is --- no watering. [IMG]
