Less Common Spring Bulbs

    Digressing.

    We've five clumps of snowdrops with lovely grey/green leaves, which we've never seen before, no photos as the flowers have already gone.
    They're beneath an ornamental acer tree in our front garden. I can only assume they have been the result of birds droppings when perched in the tree.

    Whilst looking for another thread I came across this one. As we are nearing the time of year to start shopping for them I decided to give it a bump with my own offering..........

    Hermodactylus tuberosus;

    As a tuber it's not strictly a bulb, but much the same principle!!!! Needs a well drained sunny spot, it's fully hardy and well worth seeking out.
